i was recently  invited to exhibit work at a charity event. i knew the producer so i said yes, even though all he said about the event was that it raised money for homeless kids.
when i arrived, i found  the charity was for, street angels, a youth ministry headed by the mission gathering church, a non denominational group who had purchased a piece of my art work, crucifixion, three years previous.
as soon as i entered the event a women came  over to me, introducing herself and said she was one of two people that carry my work (a large, multi panel, 75lb. crucifixion piece) down the aisle of their church to their 'altar' each week. she had been doing so for the past three years. i was amazed.
i thought the piece was probably in the corporate offices. the church is in an old theatre that rents out the site to different venues during the week. so each week mission gathering, has to set up for services and each week, the crucifixion  is brought forward for services. it is their altar piece. 

i am so honored.
